KENZIE GARGAN
Professional Sailor

ABOUT ME
Kenzie is a 19-year-old professional sailor training for the 2028 Los Angeles and 2032 Olympic Games.
His sailing journey began at the age of 12, out of the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron, in Brisbane, Australia. From the moment he set foot in a boat, he knew this sport was his true passion. He progressed through the youth classes, constantly pushing the limits and honing skills on the water.
Kenzie races the foiling Nacra 17, a high-performance catamaran that flies above the water at speeds of up to 60 km/h, demanding precision, skill, and teamwork. Beyond Olympic-class sailing, he also competes in an array of other classes as well as offshore racing on larger yachts, tackling long-distance challenges that test endurance and strategy.
Sailing is more than just a sport it's a way of life. Every day, Kenzie dedicate myself to training, racing, and improving, with his eyes set on the ultimate goal: representing his country at the highest level. The journey to the Olympics is filled with challenges, but Kenzies determination, resilience, and love for the sport drive me forward.
Follow along as he chases the dream, compete on the world stage, and share his adventures on and off the water!
